About us

PNA, owner of the Ports of Caen-Ouistreham and Cherbourg, is in charge of management and development of the port domain.
One of France's leading port facilities, with a total traffic of 4.7 millions tons of goods and 1.5 millions of passengers, PNA is in a prime geographical location, only a few nautical miles from one of Europe's busiest maritime corridors and at the heart of the Channel front.
The ports of Caen and Cherbourg offer quality multimodal connections to major European transport networks, together with port capacities enabling various types of traffic to be handled and a wide range of activities to be welcomed.

As France's leading deep-water port, the Port of Cherbourg offers exceptional nautical facilities and 24-hour access independently of weather conditions for vessels up to 80,000 DWT.
Beyond the harbour limits, a berthing facility can welcome the largest of capesize bulk carriers for offshore transhipment operations.

The port of Caen-Ouistreham consits of several terminals located along the 14km-long canal linking Caen to the sea, is an attractive hinterland, only 2 hours from Paris. Its ferry terminal, directly accessible downstream from the locks, welcomes the most important ferry link to the west of the English Channel.
